Ground flaxseed arepitas
1 cup of cornmeal
2 tablespoons Karavansay ground flaxseed
1 teaspoon of melted ghee clarified butter
1 cup of water or a little more.
Pinch of salt
- In a bowl, mix the water, salt, butter and add the flour and flaxseed, knead well, until smooth and compact, if necessary add more water.
- In a greased griddle or frying pan, cook the arepas on both sides.
- They can make it small or large and stuffed with ham, cheese, shredded chicken or tuna.
- Ideal for breakfast or lunch.
