    Ingredients

    • 1 cup of cornmeal

    • 2 tablespoons Karavansay ground flaxseed

    • 1 teaspoon of melted ghee clarified butter

    • 1 cup of water or a little more.

    • Pinch of salt

    Preparation

    • In a bowl, mix the water, salt, butter and add the flour and flaxseed, knead well, until smooth and compact, if necessary add more water.
    • In a greased griddle or frying pan, cook the arepas on both sides.
    • They can make it small or large and stuffed with ham, cheese, shredded chicken or tuna.
    • Ideal for breakfast or lunch.
