Ingredients
1 ½ cups of ready-made Karavansay brown rice.
1 cup of fresh or precooked shrimp.
¼ teaspoon Karavansay ginger powder.
¼ teaspoon Karavansay turmeric.
1 teaspoon clarified butter ghee Karavansay oregano flavor
1 can of coconut cream.
2 garlic cloves, cut very fine.
1 long split onion.
¼ paprika cut into small pieces.
½ tablespoon chopped cilantro.
Salt and pepper to taste.
1 teaspoon of honey.
Juice of 1/2 lemon.
Preparation
- In a frying pan over medium heat add oregano flavored ghee, place the garlic and long onion, fry for 2 minutes and add the paprika, cook for 2 more minutes taking care not to burn the vegetables. Pour in the coconut cream, add the ginger, turmeric, salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the shrimp and cook for a few minutes until the cream has reduced and thickened a bit.
- Add honey, cilantro and lemon juice.
- Turn off and serve with our freshly made brown rice and enjoy this delicious dish.
